01
Emergency call
You call our 24/7 line and describe what happened. We ask about the water source, how long it has been sitting, and whether sewage is involved, because that changes the safety protocol. A crew is dispatched immediately with extraction equipment loaded. Most South El Monte addresses see us on site within 60 to 90 minutes.
02
Inspection and mapping
We walk the property with moisture meters, a hygrometer, and a thermal imaging camera to find every wet zone, including water that migrated under cabinets or into the ceiling cavity. You get a written scope before work starts, and we photograph everything for your insurance file.
03
Water extraction
Truck-mounted water extraction units and wet/dry vacuums pull standing water out of carpet, tile, and concrete. For sewage backups we remove contaminated material first, then treat the area with Benefect or antimicrobial spray. A typical residential extraction takes two to four hours.
04
Structural drying
We set air movers, a desiccant dehumidifier, and floor drying mats to pull moisture out of drywall, insulation, and wood subfloor. Technicians return daily to log readings. Most homes dry in three to five days; crawl spaces and thick plaster walls can run longer.
05
Repairs and final walkthrough
Once materials hit the dry standard, we replace drywall, baseboard, insulation, and any damaged flooring. We seal grout and apply a final antimicrobial pass. You get a completion report with before-and-after moisture readings and a workmanship warranty on the repairs.
